Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The stiffness along with pain in neck is due to spondylodegenerative lesion in cervical vertebrae.

The condition is age related and progressive. Initial stages can be managed conservatively without surgery, however, later stages require surgery.

I suggest you to consult an orthopedician for clinical assessment and thus management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shailja Puri , Pathologist and Microbiologist
